OK it looks like I may have a new MoBo. I stuck a new one in my wish list and have started some comparison shopping but it looks like this is the one I am going for. Its a chipset I'm not used to, VIA K8T890, and the reviews are mixed compared to the Nforce 4 chipset, but the price and the customer reviews were right. With expedited shipping I should have it sometime on Monday or Tuesday. Installation should be quick and dirty, although I forgot conductive paste in the order, I sure hope one of the big box stores keep it in stock or I may be out of commission for a few more days, ugh!
All told, I have been without for so long that I just need something to get me up and running again. Lack of internet access and the ability to write have taken its toll on me.
Hopefully I'll be typing this on my own PC sometime in the next three days, YAY!
